Wed., Feb. 14
- 5:30-8:30 p.m.: ASMA welcome reception & opening social
- Location: Calhoun’s on the River (400 Neyland Dr, Knoxville, TN 37902)
- Food service begins at 6 p.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvre (menu includes carving station, pastas, meatballs, fresh vegetables, seasonal fruit, cheese board, stuffed mushrooms, crab claws, & chicken teriyaki skewers)
- Cash bar (attendees will receive two complimentary drink tickets)
- Calhoun’s is 0.7 miles from the conference hotel, a 20-minute walk (see map below). In addition, free parking is available at Calhoun’s.

Thurs., Feb. 15
- 8:30 a.m. to Noon: Oral presentations, poster presentations, case study competition
- Noon to 1:30 p.m.: Lunch break
- 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Oral presentations, symposiums, case study competition
- 7:00 p.m.: Tennessee Lady Vols vs South Carolina Gamecocks basketball game
- 8-time national champion Tennessee enters the season ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 12 in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches’ Poll, while 2-time national champion South Carolina begins the year at No. 6 AP and No. 4 USA Today/WBCA.
Fri., Feb. 16
- 8:30 a.m. to Noon: Oral presentations, poster presentations, symposiums
- Noon to 1:30 p.m.: ASMA awards luncheon
- Luncheon will include an address by the ASMA Distinguished Service & Mentorship Award recipient as well as recognition of the Dr. Samantha Roberts Case Study Competition winners, student research award finalists/winners, and ASMA Research Fellows.
- Lunch will be provided
