The 2020 Applied Sport Management Association Conference will be February 27-29, 2020, hosted by Baylor University in Waco, TX. Submissions from the following categories will be accepted:
- Oral presentations (includes graduate student research competition)
- Poster presentations
- 50-minute panel or workshop sessions (i.e., professional panel or teaching workshop)
- Works in progress papers/Getting published session
The deadline for oral presentation, poster presentation, and panel or workshop submissions is November 15, 2019. Works in progress submissions will be accepted until January 17, 2020. For details about the submission process, please refer to the call for submissions document below:
The 2020 conference will also feature a graduate student research competition. In order to be considered for the competition, all authors listed on a submission must be graduate students at the time of the conference. Please refer to the authorship declaration form below for more details:

Case Study Competition: The 2020 ASMA Conference will hold both undergraduate and graduate case study competitions. The cases will focus on marketing for national sport governing bodies during the Olympic Games.
Teams of 4 students will prepare a written solution to the case and present their solution to judges during the conference (February 27-29). The cases will be released to the teams on January 21 and the written solutions will be due on February 20.
